INSIDE THE CLASSROOM (10th grade)

IMG_1481.JPG

While school is out during the quarantine, the 10th-grade class has been busy at home continuing their studies. They are reading classic literature like Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein with their English studies teacher, Mrs. Riddell, and Sophocles’ Three Theban Plays with their classical studies teacher, Mr. Kilbourn. Both of these readings will capture the imagination and challenge any assumption about the nature of humanity. In European History they have studied the rise of Adolf Hitler and will soon be engaging the factors that led to the outbreak of World War II. The 10th graders have enjoyed connecting with teachers and classmates through their Zoom classes where they are able to continue participating in lively group discussions!
