Highlands Latin School Indianapolis Community Lecture
What do Mother Theresa, C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Winston Churchill, Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, Thomas Jefferson, Cotton Mather, Martin Luther, Christopher Columbus, William Shakespeare, and Thomas Aquinas all have in common? The answer?
They all had a classical education.
Come join us and bring a friend to hear Martin Cothran, a popular speaker and author, discuss what classical education is and how it differs from the education most schools offer today.
Mr. Cothran, a widely-quoted writer on education issues, is the editor of Memoria Press’ Classical Teacher magazine and the author of several widely used textbooks on logic and classical rhetoric. As director of the Classical Latin School Association, he also works with classical educators all over the country on understanding and implementing classical programs in their private and home schools.
You won’t want to miss this informative and enlightening evening as we deepen our understanding of the great benefits of classical education in today’s world.
